With video marketing, you always want to put your best foot forward.
Never do you want to just put out "mediocre" videos that are strictly
designed to blatantly get you more traffic and leads. Because
eventually, you will become a creature of habit, and the rest of your
materials that you are marketing to your leads will be of low value.
The
same practice can be said about marketing on YouTube. When marketing on
YouTube, there are all kinds of videos that you can make and upload.
But the real question is whether or not your viewer will get some
information that can potentially change and impact their lives.
This
is something about YouTube that you have to understand. Don't put up
junk videos. People will give you "thumbs down" ratings, they will say
negative things in the comments area, and no one (or just a tiny few who
don't know anything) will subscribe to your channel.
I want to
go over some videos that you definitely don't want to create and upload
to YouTube. These videos are typical of marketers who just want to slap
something up on YouTube and get recognition for it. But you shouldn't
follow this practice. Here's the first kind of video that you don't want
to upload to YouTube:
1) Videos with words or talking articles
These
kinds of videos are against YouTube's "Terms of Service" (TOS). When
they find that you are creating these type of videos (and they will)...
expect to see your account banned. And once you get banned, there is a
very little chance that they will restore your account.
You will
see on the internet software and services that say that they will take
your article and turn it into a video that you can immediately blast to
around 20 different video sites. But this can only do you harm. Videos
like these are typically poor, and the voice of the video is a robot
from a "text-to-speech" program.
The quality is horrible. And
people will automatically assume that the rest of your videos are the
same way. So don't expect to get a lot of views to your other videos...
no one will want to see it. Here's another type of video that you don't
want to upload to YouTube.
